Marine Bed Semi-Fossil Coral Calcium and the Quality

The biggest benefits to both marine bed coral calcium and above water coral calcium are: Increased pH, ORP or antioxidant potential, and the perfect balance of minerals. The ionic minerals in marine bed coral are from an organic source. Most people are surprised to learn that the coral obtains the ionic minerals from its symbiosis with zooxanthellae. The coral and algae live together in a mutually beneficial relationship which provides the coral with the nutrients needed in order to survive in the slow moving waters. In that section you will learn that the sachet or tea bag form of coral calcium will give you the best pH and ORP values. The pH will usually be around 11.5 and the ORP will be around -300. Sachet coral calcium is a marine bed coral. This same coral can be crushed and sold as CCP in a 15 to 1 ratio of Ca to Mg. The other marine bed coral calcium is sold as Sango Mineral Powder (SMP) in a 2 to 1 ratio of Ca to Mg. The SMP coral will give a pH reading of around 10.0 and ORP reading around -120 as a stand alone product. These readings will vary when other ingredients are added. These readings are only achieved when adding the product to water. These great pH readings have to do the large amounts of oxides present in the marine coral calcium which is explained in more detail in the "Learn about the differences in the methods of using coral calcium." section. As you can tell from the readings above, the sachet coral calcium contains much more ionized oxide molecules than does the SMP. We feel that marine bed coral calcium is the highest quality coral calcium available. In the last 16 years many advancements have been made in the delivery and processing of marine grade coral calcium. The best soruces for marine grade coral appear to be the Okinawan coral from Japan and Carribean coral. We have seen a more consistant pH and (-)ORP with Carribean coral. It is our opinion that both of these soruces of coral are the safest and most effective that we have found.
